And, to enable better understand the world’s remaining special places and fosters the dissemination of geographic knowledge around the globe; Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic jointly administer a philanthropic fund which supports science and conservation groups.


Philanthropy is has always been a core value of Lindblad Expeditions and its President, Sven-Olof Lindblad. The company believes that respectful tourism can sustain and even repair a region and, as such, Lindblad supports conservation in all of the company’s key travel regions, including the Galapagos Islands, Baja California, Alaska and Antarctica. To date, the company has raised over $5 million dollars to support local efforts in the destinations where it travels.
